About the Role: Our client is actively seeking skilled Emergency Consultant Physicians to enhance their dynamic team. Recently redeveloped, the hospital boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including five operating theatres and a mixed caseload Emergency Department (ED) with approximately 45,000 presentations annually.

About the Facility: Be a part of an ACEM accredited ED training facility, serving as the main regional rural referral hospital for the North West area of NSW. Following a recent $220 million redevelopment, the hospital now features 348 treatment spaces and conducts over 9,000 surgical procedures annually across five theatres. The trauma centre is well-equipped with a locally based helicopter retrieval service and is complemented by an extensive network of locally based Medical Specialists.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet one or more of the following criteria:
Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
Hold or be eligible for FACEM (Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine)
Possess at least 12 months of recent experience in Emergency Medicine at a Consultant Level
ACEM trainee soon to obtain FACEM
IMGs who are about to lodge their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, awaiting their ACEM interview, or have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
