Occupational Health Advisor Team Leader


Based at our clients site in Horsham 2-3 days a week and homebased 2-3 days a week. You will be required to travel to Devon, Somerset, Kent and Suffolk throughout the year for audits, apprasials and team events, this will equate to approximately 4 weeks.


What you'll be doing:

  • Assessing new clients presenting to Occupational Health, whether in person or by written referral and initiate management of case
  • Assessing clients' fitness to work for the appropriate job role in line with HP policies and guidelines and issue appropriate fitness certificates.
  • Supporting, advising, monitoring and assessing the clinical practice of the OH team.
  • Maintaining appropriate records in line with departmental protocols on record keeping.
  • Maintaining valid and up to date registration with the NMC and comply with NMC guidelines in relation to professional issues and clinical supervision.
  • Providing Occupational Health employees with appropriate regular appraisals, ensuring training and development needs are identified and met

Skills

Registered Nurse (Part 1)

Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma

IT literacy and competence

Excellent communicator with a range of stakeholders

Clear evidence of managerial experience


Education & Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health

Diploma

Salary

The salary for this position is £45,000 to £47,000 per annum

Certifications

Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
