Physiotherapist

Job Description

I am looking for an enthusiastic therapist who would love a new challenge to come and join my team here at Simpson Physiotherapy Ltd.
*Full-time and Part-time opportunities are available.
To arrange for an informal chat about the positions available, email [email protected] and let me know you would like to find out more and we can arrange a time to speak.
We are a neuro and older adult specialist physio practice, working with clients in and around Glasgow. Our clients love us and because of this we are in a very privileged position of being able to expand and bring in new therapists to my team.
Do you have neuro and older adult experience? Great then read on!
Are you an MSK clinician who wants to work in a fulfilling practice and to add to your MSK skills to upskill in neuro rehab as well? If so -keep reading, I would love to talk to you as well!
We have a great team and have regular CPD and funded learning opportunities. We are the only PD Warrior Licenced practice in Glasgow and all my team get the opportunity to get the official PD Warrior training. My practice is quickly becoming THE go-to practice to support the lives of people with Parkinson's.
By working with me and my team you will be instrumental in providing high quality, fun and engaging rehab services to our fabulous clients.
You will have the opportunity to be a great clinician and provide life-long support to our clients with neurological conditions. We have a very varied, and often complex, case-load. We see conditions ranging from early onset PD, stroke survivors, motor neuron disease, MS, Thalidomide Embryopthay, to straightforward MSK conditions affecting older adults. All our clients love the fact that we are here to support their lives and tell them what we can help them with.
You definitely get to bring your A-game to this practice. You absolutely need it when you go to see a PD Warrior working at a very high level at 9am, then onto your next client who has a dense hemiplegia following a stroke and they are making great improvements in their walking, to doing hands-on MSK work with a client with MS who has injured their back and shoulder. And that's just by lunchtime! Then you could be taking one of our PD Warrior Physio led, face-to-face classes, or onto your next client who needs some strength and flexibility work and high-level balance work to get her back on her feet after a prolonged hospital stay.
In all honesty - the skills you need to bring to this job has scared off a large number of therapists already. A day in the life of a Neuro Domi Physio shocks many of the physios I speak to. I absolutely love it, and so do my amazing team. I appreciate that this can sound daunting, but you get a tremendous amount of clinical support from me and my team through 1 to 1's, regular staff CPD and weekly meetings. As well as our monthly half day all hands, face-to-face get-togethers where we do more clinical supervision and support, work on service development, training and push forward with new opportunities to improve our services.
I am not looking for a finished product here, I do not expect you to know everything about everything. What I am looking for are people who
1) genuinely care about helping people and want to make a real and long-lasting difference in the lives of our clients,
2) value learning and want to improve your clinical skills
3) want a real job that provides you with great satisfaction knowing youve made a positive difference in someone ones life
