Job Description

Hampton’s Resourcing are working exclusively with a small yet passionate children’s residential care provider who are looking for a highly experienced Registered Manager to open their BRAND NEW 3 bed home for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties based in Harrow, North West London. If you are an Ofsted expert looking for a challenge of developing your own service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. This role gives full autonomy to make the home your own, and working for a new organisation means progression opportunities will be endless!


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the day to day running of the service and will be expected to maintain high standards of care and service delivery, ensuring compliance with both the Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards 2015
  • The registration process with Ofsted and achieve a minimum of a ‘good’ Ofsted rating
  • A role model for all staff in the service, working with integrity and passion, ensuring that all aspects of the service are aligned with the organisation's values and vision
  • Maintain strong and professional relationships with social workers, teaching staff and other professional associated agencies engaged in childcare

Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience of working with young people with emotional, behavioural difficulties, symptoms of trauma and anti-social behaviour
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a children's residential setting
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and IT literacy
  • Level 5 in Children & Young People or a Diploma/Degree


Salary: Up to £60K (depending on experience)
