CDM Consultant

Job Description

We are currently partnering with a Consultancy who deliver a wide range of energy, property and engineering services to thousands of clients. They are currently recruiting for a CDM Consultant to join their growing team on a permanent basis.


Our client is proud to take both a technical and practical approach in supporting their clients through using specialist surveying teams to ensure property estates are both efficient and compliant.


This is a full-time position with a salary band of £40,000 to £45,000 with a £5,000 car allowance and the start date is subject to notice.


Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting development of Property Compliance across the UK through the delivery of Principal Designer services under CDM 2015
  • Driving sustainable growth, statutory compliance and governance, retention and development of our client base
  • Assisting in growing the customer base to positively contributes to the growth and financial performance of the business overall
  • Working collaboratively with other people across the other divisions to achieve targets and present a seamless approach to clients
  • Following industry practice and legislation to deliver competent Principal Designer and Property Compliance Services


Experience required:

  • Worked in the UK construction industry in a wide range of sectors
  • Experience assessing the competency of designers and Principal Contractor’s
  • Experience preparing and reviewing the statutory documents associated with CDM 2015
  • Experience undertaking site audits and inspections


Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Strong planning, communication and people skills together with a “hands-on” approach
  • Good stakeholder & client management skills
  • High degree of direction, self-reliance & assertiveness
