Job Description

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As an Locum CT Radiographer, you will:

  • Performing a diverse range of CT examinations, ensuring optimal patient positioning and image quality.
  • Operating and maintaining CT equipment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other health care professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout the scanning process.
  • Maintaining detailed patient records and documentation, adhering to departmental and legal requirements.
  • Contributing to the efficient work flow of the department, ensuring timely scan turnaround and patient satisfaction.

Essential:

  • Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Radiographer
  • At least six months recent NHS experience
  • Must have Right to work in the UK / No sponsorship required
  • Flexible to cover nights and weekends if needed.
