Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North.  In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.

Key knowledge, skills and experience

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven expertise in the development of architectures for complex IT systems, ensuring consistency with and traceability across specified requirements within enterprise architecture and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to evaluate and undertake impact analysis on major architectural options and assess associated risks and issues, ensuring that the solution architecture balances function, service quality and system management requirements.
  • Ability to promote and ensure the use of solution architecture techniques, methodologies and tools ensuring consistency within the team.
  • High level of expertise and experience in the multiple technology domains to architectural standards, decisions, direction, standardisation and professional advice, including Cloud Technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure) and other As-a-Service options.
