The Education and Research Unit provides Nursing and Midwifery education, professional practice development services and Clinical Practice Improvement initiatives for nursing and midwifery staff, to facilitate the achievement of best practice health service delivery requirements.

About the role:

The Nurse Educator - Rural is a Registered Nurse who is accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, and assessment of nursing education programs, managing educational resources and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues within CQHHS.

About you:

• Mandatory qualification/s: A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification in which clinical education was a component is a requirement of this position. Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion of the required post-graduate study within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance review process.

Total remuneration value of up to $137,937.87 p.a. is comprised of:

• A hourly rate between $68.85 - $72.58 p.h.
