Temporary full-time role up to 30/06/2024 (with possible extension).

This role will deliver primary and secondary interventions to improve disease management and quality of life.

Community and Primary Health Care (C&PHC) are a primary and secondary whole-of-life service with a patient and family centred model of care.

  • base salary ranges between $5721.10 - $5973.00 p.a. (Nurse Grade 8).
  • 5 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer super contribution

Diabetes Services, Chronic Disease Team, Community and Primary Health Care, Mount Isa.

Role requirements

  • Master of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner endorsement with AHPRA.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in the relevant specialty of Diabetes.
  • Travel may be required C Class motor vehicle licence is required to operate Fleet vehicles.
  • Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant.
  • VPD risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis and COVID-19.
  • A 6-month probationary period may apply.
