Southern Cross Care Queensland has an exciting opportunity for two full-time Registered Nurses to join the clinical team at our Caloundra Residential Aged Care Home on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

About the role
In this role you will join a team of highly skilled compassionate Registered Nurses in providing excellence in clinical care for our residents. You will work under the leadership of an experienced Clinical Manager to deliver advanced clinical and holistic care to our residents. Providing support and supervision to your team members, you will champion a strong teamwork approach to resident’s care. You will liaise with medical practitioners, family and other multi-disciplinary team members ensuring excellence in personalised care. Most importantly, compassion and empathy accompany your clinical talent, alongside building relationships with our residents based on dignity and respect.
What you will bring to the role?
  • You will be a Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in Aged Care and a knowledge of chronic conditions, palliative and dementia care highly desirable
  • Strong clinical focus in assessing, planning and implementing client care
  • Demonstrated skills in care planning and evaluation documentation
  • Demonstrated competence in medication management and clinical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You enjoy working in a team environment
  • You are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives
