$75,000 – $110,000 per year + car or KMs + super

We are a private practice with a difference! At Bridge to Best we work with our clients to problem solve ways in which they can get greater fulfilment out of their day-to-day living.

Bridge to Best is a community based Occupational Therapy practice. We work with people who are experiencing neurological conditions, complex and catastrophic brain injuries and their support teams. 

The Bridge to Best Occupational Therapist (OT) will work alongside our amazing Therapy Assistants, and report to the Director, to provide therapeutic and program-related treatment.

Job Summary

The right candidate will be required to work with people who are experiencing neurological conditions, complex and catastrophic brain injuries. You will bring experience to the role and be responsible for providing therapeutic and program related treatment services. Although you will work independently, you will be provided with supervision and support.

Although we are looking for full time, part time would be considered for the right candidate. 

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Client assessment and intervention (including equipment prescription, minor home modification recommendations, functional assessments and cognitive rehabilitation)
  • Collaboration and liaison with stakeholders
  • Client / caregivers / family education
  • Engagement in quality improvement activities
  • Prepare home / therapy programs and resources
Qualifications & Experience 
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Undertake / complete minimum CPD points
  • Driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
  • External IT support
  • EAP program
  • Supervision
  • Computer and phone
  • Vehicle KM allowance or vehicle provided for work purposes
