Physiotherapy, OT & Rehabilitation (Healthcare & Medical)
Therapy4life offer Occupational Therapy Services, Therapy Assistants and Equine Assisted Programs to children as well as adults. We are a Melbourne-based therapy services provider, and we provide support to NDIS participants – children, adolescents and adults (0-65yrs) to improve their access, function, development, independence, and overall health and wellbeing. We believe engagement is key to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
We are proud of our vibrant interactive sensory rooms at our practice in Mordialloc where we engage in sensory modulation and gross motor work. We have an interactive projection system to assist with engagement during our sessions.
We also offer private nature based sensory spaces at our farm in Somerville surrounded by a peaceful natural environment; activities include gardening, water play, a giant swing; we incorporate a range of natural play tools, a messy play space and we have many friendly animals including adorable miniature horses and ponies.
Along with in-clinic sessions, we also offer mobile services to our client’s homes, schools and kindergartens. We have outreach opportunities where we work throughout the Kingston, Bayside and Peninsula and offer our therapists an interesting and varied caseload with a balanced combination of clinic and community sessions.
The Role:
Therapy4life is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our supportive team who can develop and implement creative innovative services in a community and in clinic health setting.
Although we are looking for an OT who has some clinical practice experience, we believe that with the right supports there is much room for growth and development, and we would consider a new graduate who has the right work ethic and enthusiasm. More experienced clinicians can begin with or work towards leadership roles within the team which will include supervision for junior team members.
We don’t focus on KPIs, we concentrate on and talk regularly of how we can improve sessions for our clients and how we can enhance our work environment. Be part of a team who truly enjoys being at work and who are always there to support each other.
For newly graduating OT's, we provide a structured and supported clinical framework designed to strengthen your learning and professional development.
