The PositionWe are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to join our team of dedicated Environmental Health professionals. The successful applicant will be a strong team player, willing to work on a wide range of Environmental Health issues in a co-operative work environment. We are looking for an Environmental Health Officer with:
Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health) or equivalent acceptable to the Chief Health Officer (WA).
Evidence of this qualification will be required.
Eligibility to be approved as an authorised officer (noise) under the provisions of the Environmental Protection Act.
Good knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to public health and environmental protection including the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act and associated Regulations; the Food Act and Food Safety Standards; the Environmental Protection Act and the Noise Regulations.
Salary:
$86,857 – $109,636 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
Hours:
The City of Cockburn is a flexible workplace. This full-time role is offering a 9-day (76 hour) fortnight.
