NHS Grampian - More jobs by this advertiser

Applications are invited for four LAT posts within the North of Scotland Anaesthetic Training Programme.  The posts are ST4 level although there may be the option to appoint at a lower grade (CT2 or CT3 level).

Brief Description of the programme:

Both Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Raigmore Hospital have most major surgical specialties on a single site. Maternity and Paediatric services are provided at both sites. Allocation of trainees between the two sites takes into account this regional variation in workload. The Aberdeen Medical School has students on both hospital sites, allowing opportunities to become involved in student teaching. Students rotate through Anaesthetics at various times in their degree programme and Anaesthetic trainees are often actively involved in delivering medical education.Aberdeen and Inverness are well served by air, rail and road and uniquely allow quick and easy access to the wild and spectacular scenery of Royal Deeside and the Highlands. Both Inverness and Aberdeen have vibrant modern city centres and are great places to live and bring up families.Applicants should refer to the National Person Specification for Anaesthesia ST4 2024 to confirm eligibility for this post (at ST4 level), available at https://www.scotmt.scot.nhs.uk/recruitment/specialty-recruitment/person-specifications.aspx  (We would also welcome applications from candidates at CT2 or CT3 level as there may be the option to appoint at a lower level.)
