About the role

Temporary full time opportunity until December 2025

  • Operational planning, management, and evaluation of designated services within complex healthcare settings within redevelopment project(s) at The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH).
  • Development of designated service improvement portfolios across TPCH Expansion, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources to deliver project objectives on time, within budget, and fit for their intended purpose.
  • Provision of efficient and effective use of human and material resources in a specific area within a dynamic health environment.
  • Serve as a pivotal point of contact and co-ordination between the Infrastructure Planning and Capital Projects Planning team and the TPCH Programs, providing expert guidance on complex clinical planning related matters during the design, construction, building commissioning, transition and operational commissioning of the project.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Proactively identify clinical planning and commissioning related risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies ensuring key project milestones are achieved and the overall integrity of the project is maintained.
  • Provide effective leadership within the expansion project by leading and managing change and integrating key objectives of the project plan to meet service deliverables.
  • Facilitate the effective development and management of the project's clinical planning concepts and the necessary documents, including updates to models of care, models of service delivery and service readiness, required for the TPCH development and commissioning processes.
