We are expanding ourmultidisciplinary team supporting NDIS participants living in the St George andSutherland Shire areas and would welcome an early career or experienced Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful and rewarding impact in their local community.

We empower participants by:

• Using a strengths-based approach to guide our assessment, goals and ultimately our intervention
• We use a combination ofstandardised and non-standardised assessment, curated to the participants needs to guide our clinical reasoning
• Exploring and navigating complex cases, engaging in 1:1 supervision as well as team and national based in-services are just some of the ways you can expect to be supported

On a daily basis you will be:

• Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner
• Assessing participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
• Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
• Providingtherapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
• Providingsupport and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
• Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and to promote independence

About you

• Experience in the NDIS
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
• Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
• Looking for a fun, collaborative and supportive work environment
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Genuine passion for working in the disability sector

• Degree qualified Occupational Therapist
• Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)as an Occupational Therapist
