For the suitable candidate, this position offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time employment as an Optical Dispenser at Visionary Alliance Optical in Chatswood, NSW.

As an Optical Dispenser, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting glasses, selecting and edging optical lenses into frames and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with our team to ensure accurate prescriptions and help customers find the perfect eyewear that meets their needs and preferences.

There is opportunity for advancement into a practice manager role.

Qualifications

• Optical dispensing qualification is highly preferred
• Ability to assist customers in selecting suitable optical frames
• Previous experience and/or an interest in edging and fitting lenses into frames
• Able to display and highly experienced in providing excellent customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Maintain all appropriate documentation, patient and customer records
• Assist in inventory management to ensure correct stock levels
• Support the company's growth by identifying and maximising sales opportunities and proactively promoting products / services to customers
• Administrative support in business operations
