About YOU! You have…

  • A proven passion for Technology and Design.
  • Experience in embedding ICT and the use of technology into the classroom and school environment. 
  • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and current Queensland College of Teachers Registration
  • Proven experience in building productive working relationships with students, families, and other team members.
  • An understanding of the workings of a multidisciplinary team (teachers and allied health professionals), preferably in the area of students with disability (desirable).
  • A Certificate IV in Assessment and Training (desirable) or willingness to obtain
  • Experienced in or willingness to learn all areas of a Design Technology Department covering electronics, manufacturing, CAD, CAM and more! 

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Design and Technology Teacher to join the team at Mancel College. The role of the Design and Technology Teacher involves contributing to the creation of a specialised curriculum that caters to our students' growth in the field of design and technology.

Delivering an engaging and relevant curriculum in a range of Design and Technology contexts, the Design and Technology Teacher will operate from our recently constructed facility, set to be completed by year-end. This state-of-the-art building will come fully furnished with cutting-edge tools and materials.
