An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Trial Assistant  to join the team at Northern Health.


This role will be responsible for carrying out administrative and operational tasks to deliver the IntraNasal HEpaRIn Trial (INHERIT). These may include, but are not limited to, participant recruitment, research database management and conducting follow up calls.
We are looking for candidates with excellent communication and organisational skills, who demonstrate an ability to actively participate in the delivery of complex projects. Strong customer service, data entry and computer literacy skills are essential and previous experience in clinical trials will be highly favourable.
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An appropriate level of experience and/or training, with previous experience in clinical trials desirable.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision when required.
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, the guidelines and regulatory requirements pertaining to clinical trials, such as Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one).
