Our administration team provide support and will assist you with managing your caseloads, calendar and general organisation including, chasing up documentation and track funding for your clients so you can focus on your clients and therapy.

Grace Children's Therapy has a structured Occupational Therapy Assistants program for the right person which includes, mentoring and supervision, co-treating sessions and in-house learning and development modules.

As a member of the team you will:

• Have opportunities for co-treating appointments with our Head of Clinical Practice & Professional Standards Manager

• Be provided with an initial shadowing period and induction

• Be given the support and tools to be the best you can with coaching, professional development and induction programs.

• Be supported to work within your scope of practice

• Be provided with regular one to one supervision sessions

• You'll receive access to a full library of professional development courses and topics that will contribute to your CEU's.

• Participate in our learning and development program which includes independent learning and shared team learning experiences.

• Receive mentoring and coaching and formal training opportunities to expand on your repertoire of frameworks, approaches and tools.

• Receive report writing coaching and feedback.

• Be supported by a team of occupational therapists with years of experience to share.

• Full administration support including assistance with managing your diary & appointments.

• Access to a variety of cloud-based therapy resources and apps to assist with communication & case management software.

• Participate in our in-house training modules.

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy

• Occupational Therapy Assistants will need to be in their fourth year to be eligible to apply.

• NDIS worker screener (Service NSW) or willingness to obtain one

• Working with Children Check (Service NSW) or willingness to obtain one.

• National Police Check (Criminal History Check)

• AHPRA Registered or eligible for registration prior to commencement.

• Applicants with Limited AHPRA Registration or Stage 1 Desktop Audit from OT Council will be considered.

• Be eligible to apply for a Medicare and Private Health provider number & willing to apply.

• Current member of OT Australia or willing to join

• Current NSW Drivers Licence & have a reliable vehicle.

• Excellent interpersonal skills; be able to relate to children and be playful.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Have a good work ethic & take pride in your work

• Enjoys working with children

• Remuneration is based on occupational therapy experience.
