We are currently seeking a and experienced Backup Engineer to join our team on a remote basis. As a Backup Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backup solutions for our organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail.Responsibilities:- Designing and implementing backup solutions for our organisation- Performing regular backups and monitoring backup systems to ensure data integrity- Troubleshooting backup issues and resolving them in a timely manner- Collaborating with other members of the IT team to ensure data protection and recovery strategies are in place- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in backup and recoveryRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field- 3+ years of experience in backup engineering or a related field- Strong technical skills in backup technologies (e.g. Veeam Backup & Replication, AWS S3, Azure Backup)- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- US citizenship required for remote work eligibilityIf you are a talented Backup Engineer looking for a challenging remote opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
