About us:VSOS is independently owned and operated by a surgeon (Dr Levien) and internal medicine specialist (Dr Graham). Wehave recently opened our brand-new world class specialist and 24-hour emergency centre, Advanced Treatment Centre(ATC) and offer a mobile specialist service to our local veterinarians around greater Sydney. Currently, we havespecialists in internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and anaesthesia and are complimented by advanced residents andnursing staff. Our brilliant specialist teams consist of internal medicine, Dr Karina Graham, Dr Barbara Gallagher, DrAmy Pepper, Dr Matteo Bordicchia, Dr Rachel Reynolds, and Dr Chris Greenwell (residency trained), surgery specialists,Dr Andrew Levien, Dr Michelle Joffe, Dr Rachel Basa, Professor Kenneth Johnson, Dr Laurencie Brunel and Dr ElizabethLaFond, specialist radiologist, Dr Joanna Pilton.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards and are well-equipped, including in-house new 1.5T Siemens MagnetomSempra human grade MRI, a new 64 slice Siemens Somatom Go.Up CT, mobile digital x-ray, an extensive array ofendoscopic equipment and ultrasound including echocardiography. We have a brand-new state-of-the-art PhilipsZenition c-arm with new flat screen technology for dramatically less radiation exposure and a diode laser for mínimallyinvasive procedures for our dedicated interventional radiology (IR) department. We enjoy a high case load of cardiac cases and work in a great community who entrust us to provide the highest level of care for their pets.We have a greatset-up if you are interested in interventional cardiology.
About you:communication skills. We love to work as a team and bounce ideas off one-another; sharing of knowledge, technique,and experience with each other is vital.
