About the role:

You are invited to join our new Allied Health team based in Windsor that delivers a diverse range of supports to a mixed caseload of participants. Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will apply your skills and knowledge to provide flexible family-centred services to children and adults with a disability and their families.

This is a rare opportunity to work across the life span of people with disabilities in a purpose built clinic with state of the art therapy rooms and equipment.

This role offers genuine flexibility as you plan and schedule appointments as it best suits you.You’ll be well supported in a multidisciplinary team with access to ongoing professional development opportunities.

We are looking for 2 x Speech Pathologists to join our team!

1 x Permanent Full Time

1 x Temporary up to 12 months, Part Time 3 x days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the communication needs of children and adults using appropriate assessments and observation processes.
  • Develop professional relationships with customers and their families, which respect individual styles and acknowledge their strengths and capabilities.
  • Support customers/families to identify their priorities and make informed decisions.
  • Participate in initial assessment interviews to determine appropriate ongoing service plan for the child/customer and their family.
  • To participate in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of individualised service plans.

About You:
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology.
  • Current SPA registration as a Speech Pathologist.
  • Passionate about human rights and creating positive change.
  • Empathetic and compassionate, with a keen understanding of diverse experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills to be the voice that resonates with others.
  • Enthusiastic team player, eager to collaborate and inspire.
  • Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-40 mins for customer visits.
