What You Will Be Doing
Enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer Assistant (RA) are invited to join the busy Peninsula Health team as a Part time Fixed Term RA. Enthusiastic and motivated Allied Health assistants are invited to join our Peninsula Health Radiology team. Radiographer Assistants work under the direction of the Radiographer/Sonographer to optimize the efficiency of the Radiology Department, and are responsible for carrying out work of a general nature within our busy department.
All Radiographer Assistants are responsible for the assisting Radiographers/Sonographers with diagnostic imaging examinations in line with the accepted policies/procedures and clinical practice guidelines of Peninsula Health. The RA will be required to participate in the rotating shift roster across all sites.
The Radiographer Assistant requires excellent interpersonal skills showing high levels of customer service and empathy. Attention to detail is paramount in this role along with high levels of Computer Literacy and knowledge of medical terminology.

What You Need
We anticipate you will:
• Produce accurate written documentation using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
• Confidently convey ideas and information in a clear and interesting way and listens to feedback.
• Be able to use common software applications and is competent across the Microsoft Office suite.
• Plan and prioritise to ensure outcomes are achieved.
