Overview

The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) currently has a position available for a Midwifery Group Practice Registered Nurse/Midwife willing to provide midwifery care to a case load of allocated women for care during pregnancy, labour and birth, and throughout the postnatal period. Working collaboratively with medical officers and the multidisciplinary health care team, you will assess individual patient/client needs and plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies.

About the Role

In this role, you provide direct women centred nursing/midwifery care and/or individual case management to women/families in a defined clinical area with increasing autonomy over time. You will assess individual women/family's needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies.

What better way to know more about being a midwife within YNLHN, than the words of a midwife who moved to work with us, from the city to “give it a go” and who fell in love with the work, the area (and sometimes with their heart).

We are so privileged to be working with such a passionate and dedicated group of midwives just like Maddie, why not come and join us, you won’t look back.
