You would be working within a well-supported, diverse multidisciplinary team to provide developmentally appropriate treatment with children, young people, and their families.Our Aim:The Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Tasmania is growing! We are seeking passionate and dedicated Clinical Leads to provide clinical services to children, young people and their families/significant others experiencing mental health concerns. The positions available are within our new teams which are currently being developed as initiatives under the CAMHS reform program (Youth, Youth Forensic, Out of Home Care).The Clinical Lead will have a passion for providing a person-centred approach and working within a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high level clinical leadership to the team.Leadership training is available and provided by the Tasmanian Health Service in partnership with University of Tasmania.The role will include:Being part of a dynamic and well supported team committed to delivering high quality mental health services to children, young people, and their families/carers.Undertaking clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programsWorking alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new child and youth mental health services in Tasmania.Leading and working with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as requiredNote: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.NorthBased in Launceston CBD.The North of the state is an area of natural beauty where you will have easy access to the Cataract George, waterfalls, bush walks, beautiful beaches, and excellent mountain biking tracks.Launceston is a great place to raise children with access to some of Tasmania’s prestigious schools.It is truly a beautiful part of Kanamaluka/Lutruwita.An attractive relocation package and support for international visa requirements may be available for successful applicants.One permanent full time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.*Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicantApplicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Salary:
$111,506 - $118,336 per annum.
