As the Registered Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring a consistent, high-quality care provision for all young people in the home.
• Upholding and maintaining registration standards and adhering to all relevant legislation and quality standards.
• Managing the home's occupancy targets and maintaining an active waiting list.
• Leading a team of staff and promoting a positive working environment.
• Managing and operating budgets within the agreed guidelines for the home.
• Assisting with the planning and organisation of staffing rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
• Participating in an out of hours 'On-Call' rota.

The ideal candidate for the Registered Manager role should have:

• Relevant experience of working at a senior level with children with a range of needs.
• Experience in leading and managing a team of staff.
• Knowledge of current relevant legislation and guidelines.
• Experience in assessing children's referrals and liaising with social work teams.
• A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or a Social Work Qualification (or be working towards these qualifications).
