This family-friendly practice strives to provide high-quality, reliable healthcare to the community. This small General Practice and theirteam is made up of 2 GPs and a Registered Nurse. The General Practitioners have experience in a wide range of areas. The practices’ compassionate Registered Nurse has a strong focus on efficient healthcare. They offer a comprehensive range of medical services, such as: Vaccinations, Women’s Health, Mental Health, Men’s Health, Electrocardiography (ECG), Chronic Disease Management, Skin Screening, Minor Surgery, Family Health, Travel Medicine, Vaccines & Pre-Travel Advice, Family planning and advice Implanon insertion and removal.
Position Description:
The general practitioner is required to be appropriately trained and experienced in the discipline of general practice and assessed as competent for the position.
Key responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality, primary health care services to the community, in keeping with best practice standards.

• Provide appropriate care and services to patients of all age ranges and level of health care needs.

• Respond to medical/ health problems presented by patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral as appropriate.

• Provide after hours, on call and hospital services as rostered.

• Provide management of long-term conditions in line with national guidelines and pathways.

• Prescribe for patients as appropriate to need.

• Provide appropriate health promotion and preventative health care advice to all patients attending the practice.

• Ordering diagnostic tests as required.

• Referring patients to other providers as appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Vocational Recognition through Fellowship with either the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

• For a trainee registrar, we can offer supervision.

Salary Information: $100,000 - $250,000 per annum.
