You will be a critical member of a well-established and growing team that provides Community Nursing services to the Gold Coast and Tweed regions and now the Newcastle community. About the Role
Reporting to your Community Registered Nurse and Nursing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operational effectiveness of the Nursing duties throughout your shift. providing on-call nursing clinical support to members of the team.
Responsibilities will include:

• Receive, manage and resolve issues from Clients, Stakeholders and Staff and escalate where appropriate
• Conduct regular audits in line with service requirements
• Manage allocated email inboxes, manage phone calls and update and maintain client records
• Provide on call advice to nursing staff during working hours
• Visiting clients, providing clinical care and assessments on all rostered days
• Manage supplies and stock control processes
• + much more!

We are currently to fill roles for the following rotational shifts between the AM shift (7am-4pm) and the PM shift (12pm-9pm) Monday-Sunday.
About You:
We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced applicants who have at least 2 years’ experience as an RN, with Community Nursing exposure preferred.
Tertiary qualifications, unrestricted AHPRA registration, current Police Clearance Certificate, CPR, drivers licence and reliable vehicle are of course all essential requirements of the role.
You will be proficient in managing multiple client caseloads, including wound care and dressings, PEG & Enteral feeds, continence, catheters, bowel care assessment and have the associated product knowledge and ability to manage assessment reporting.
Above all we are seeking applicants with exceptional communication, IT skills with the ability to learn new software easily, problem solving and leadership skills who have a ‘can do attitude’ and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and evidence-based practices.
