Responsibilities:

As a key member of the veterinary team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:


  • Assisting veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
  • Monitoring and caring for small animal patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
  • Conducting health checks and maintaining detailed medical records.
  • Providing compassionate support to pet owners, addressing their concerns, and offering post-operative care advice.
  • Assisting with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and sample collection.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment.


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:


  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification, with active RCVS registration.
  • Prior experience working in a small animal clinic or similar setting.
  • Proficiency in nursing skills, including catheter placement, bandaging, and administering medications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with pet owners.
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional care to furry patients and their owners.
