Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with this fantastic health service located in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia to help them find an experienced Practice Nurse to join their team on an Agency contract.
Job details

  • May 2024 start
  • A minimum 4 weeks and up to 12 week agency contracts available
  • Up to $60.59 per hour AM rate, plus shift penalties and 11% superannuation
  • Fully furnished accommodation provided
  • Return travel provided
  • You will have full agency support throughout the contract
  • Monday to Friday 8-4.30pm
As the Practice Nurse in this GP clinic you will hold your own clinic with:
  • Health checks
  • Phlebotomy
  • Telehealth
  • Dressing/Wound clinic
  • Health promotion
  • Assist GP with procedures.
There is also opportunities for you to pick up extra shifts on the ward within the hospital and if the contract fell over the Christmas new year you could be offered shifts on the inpatient until for this time.
The position can be undertaken by an EN or RN.
The Location
You will be working and living in a small town in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, approximately 400 kilometres from Broome. The Kimberley region is known for its stunning and untouched natural beauty of the rugged Australian landscape.
The town itself is a popular base for exploring nearby natural attractions including Geikie Gorge and Windjana Gorge. These areas offer opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing, and experiencing the untouched natural beauty of the Kimberley. If star gazing peeks your interest the clear night skies here make it a great place for astronomy enthusiasts.
The local Indigenous art scene is vibrant here and offers great opportunities to embrace and learn about Aboriginal culture and art through unique and beautiful Aboriginal art and crafts located in the town's galleries.
To be eligible for the position, you must have the following:
  • Have a current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
  • Rural or remote nursing experience highly regarded
