About the role:
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Enrolled Endorsed Nurse (Living Support Manager)  to join our dynamic team at St Vincent’s Care Services, Eltham. Eltham is unique as it is situated on 17 acres with a vast amount of green space and beautiful natural surroundings with 2 separate residential aged care facilities, with a combined total of 126 residents. This role is for one of the residential aged care facility hosting 63 residents .

 
In this role you will report directly to the Facility Manager and will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The role will showcase your unique ability to work collaboratively with the key personnel across both facilities; The Care Managers and Living Support Manager whilst guiding the Living Support Team (Personal Care, Lifestyle and Hotel Services team) to ensure resident centred care and daily preferences are maintained.

This role is ideal for a Enrolled Endorsed Nurse who is currently working in a senior role in an aged care setting and has an understanding of resident directed care and be prepared to champion this.


To be successful in this role, you need to be passionate about promoting and leading the provision of resident centred care which is sensitive to individual resident needs and preferences – care that is kind, compassionate and embraces all aspects of individualised care and choice. You need to have strong communication, organisational and leadership skills and have the ability to be an influential role model, inspiring those around you to go the extra distance to provide the best of care, care that is from the heart.

  • An understanding on coaching, training and developing teams and team culture
  • Registration with a professional body & a qualification in Nursing
  • An understanding of the culture and tradition of Catholic Health, including a commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of the organisation and an ability to promote the behavioural expectations in line with this philosophy

Compliance requirements:

  • Candidates will be required to evidence that they have be fully vaccinated (2 doses) for COVID-19
  • Candidates will be required to evidence that they have received the current (2024) seasonal influenza vaccination.
