Working with us

  • Base salary ranges between $71,234 and $73,319 p.a. (Nurse Grade 1 - Band 2).
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
  • Additional leave options include: purchased, long service, sick, parental, maternity, or adoption leave. Plus rostering may allow for one (1) day/month (accumulation) `Accrued Days Off'.

In your downtime , we provide 5 weeks p.a. recreation leave; with a 17.5% loading/bonus.

This role will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse as part of the central Sterilising Services team to provide and support sterilising requirements for perioperative services at the Mount Isa Hospital, North West HHS.

Requirements

  • It is a mandatory requirement for the applicant to have qualification in Certificate III in Sterilising Services or equivalent qualification.
  • This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis and COVID-19.
  • A 3-month period of probation may apply.
