About the Opportunity

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be working within a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of allied health professional whilst working within the community supporting people living with a disability. This role will be providing assessment, treatment, and recommendations to support community-based, NDIS and private participants with a range of conditions.

You will also work alongside and be supported by our clinical excellence leads who work in your preferred are of clinical interest, ensuring reach success in your role.

With Hubs all over Melbourne, you will have the chance to work full time or part time, close to home, with the option of visiting one of our vibrant hubs which is always full of clinicians collaborating, learning, and connecting whilst working towards a common goal.

Available Opportunities in the following HUBS:

Carrum Downs | Mill Park | Nunawading | Elsternwick | Geelong

Your role as an Occupational Therapist at KEO, includes the following:

  • Providing high quality, evidence based occupational therapy services, to help clients optimise their independence and quality of life.
  • Assessing NDIS and community-based participants with a diverse range of disabilities relating to physical, cognitive, or sensory impairment.
  • Deliver therapy and manage your own caseload of participants
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and produce quality reports for submission to funding bodies like NDIS
  • Attend team huddles, discipline specific and multidisciplinary case conferences as needed
  • Access to a team of multidisciplinary therapists, drawing on additional skills & knowledge
  • Mentor graduates and early career clinicians by sharing your knowledge
  • Attend team huddles, discipline specific and multidisciplinary case conference, and coffee club each week
  • Celebrate Wins with your participants, families, and your colleagues and leadership team
  • Attend opportunities for networking, learning and development

Skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent/higher)
  • 1-2 years + Experienced or Senior as an Occupational Therapist
  • Registered with AHPRA
  • Police Check
  • Driver’s License and Car
  • Working with Children’s Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
