Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant – Clinical Performance and Audit works in collaboration with the Principal Advisor Quality Improvement to provide support to SCHHS staff and clinical networks undertaking clinical improvement projects that may include the following: process redesign, innovation, change management, training and coaching. The Safety, Quality & Improvement team provides a comprehensive service which supports clinical areas to maximise patient safety outcomes, improve the patients care and experience by measuring outcomes; and evaluating service improvement and planning across the Health Service. A key function of the SQI team is to ensure that the Health Service is compliant with legislative, regulatory and policy requirements of governing bodies such as the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care and Queensland Health.
Key Responsibilities include:
Remuneration value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (temporary position available for 12 months).
