About the role
Mater Private Hospital Mackay has exciting opportunities for experienced, passionate Registered Nurses to join the Surgical Ward. These permanent positions can be full-time or part-time .
Mater Private Hospital Mackay has been providing excellence in clinical and pastoral care to the people of Mackay and surrounds since 1927. Located on the northern bank of the Pioneer River since 2003, our Hospital is a modern 105-bed facility featuring five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services.
Salary range: $40.27 - $51.74 per hour (RN1) plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900
What you'll be doing
Our Registered Nurses provide evidence-based and contemporary patient-centred clinical care in collaboration with other multidisciplinary healthcare team members. The delivery of care extends to patient advocacy with particular consideration to patients' physical, emotional and spiritual needs that contribute to optimal clinical outcomes.
Registered Nurses are responsible for ensuring safe and efficient care management within the scope of practice and professional guidelines. Still, they may not be limited to legislation, regulations, standards, codes, qualifications, registration and clinical competencies.
