Occupational Therapist

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the team at Bolton Clarke.This full time position will be located within the Western Region of Melbourne. This role will see you working full time, part time 3 minimum days a week or casual work involve traveling to client’s homes, community based services and staff to provide a quality service to Bolton Clarke staff, clients, their carers’ and other community based services. A phone and a laptop computer will be provided. Work remotely but within a supportive environment.
What we need from you:
• Provide comprehensive care involving assessment, prevention, early detection treatment and referrals whilst evaluating the effects of the treatment
• A focus on falls prevention & continuous improvement to the overall programme
• Develop care plans in consultation with the resident and their family
• Analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills necessary to manage varying and/or conflicting stakeholder demands. Desired Experience:
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience within Aged or Community care environment (desirable)
• Understanding of all relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines relevant to the Aged Care sector (desirable).
Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Current Occupational Therapist Registration with AHPRA (essential)
