The Facility:
This is a growing Health Service which is designated as a sub-regional service and has just received $115 million from government to build a vibrant and significantly expanded Emergency Department.


The Position:
Part-Time / Full-Time - 8 hours to 38 hours per week.

This position provides exposure and experience to enable the doctor to attain the required skills and knowledge as a Medical Registrar. The Medical Registrar assists in the management of medical and admitted inpatients.

This position entails rotating AM, PM and night duty, including admission and management of patients admitted to the acute medical ward beds under the supervision of the senior medical staff doctor on duty in the acute medical ward, and responding to MET calls and Code Blues.
This position will also be responsible for the management of patients admitted under the medical ward consultant to the Infusion and Treatment Unit (ITCU) and Hospital in the Home (HITH).

Your Profile:
You must have at least 12 months General Medicine experience and hold current registration with AHPRA or be eligible to apply for registration via the competent authority pathway.
