What we’ll love about you:

  • 5-7 years of progressive HSE experience.
  • Diploma or Post-Secondary Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Working toward CRSP, CSO, or NCSO certification is an asset.
  • In-depth understanding of all related health and safety legislation and standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of Return-to-Work programs and WSIB case management.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively across all levels of production and field teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage complex projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

What you’ll work on:

As a Senior HSE Coordinator at Steelcon, you will work to ensure an overall proactive safety culture in our offices, shops, and jobsites. Working closely with our Project Supervisors and field teams, you will provide HSE leadership and guidance in the field, while ensuring compliance with Steelcon’s HSE program, Occupational Health and Safety legislation, and client-specific requirements.

Skills and experience in:

Return-to-work programs, COR knowledge, time management, communication, attention to detail, multitasking, computer skills, industry experience, first aid and CPR training
