The role:

Based in Fortitude Valley, we are currently seeking a Principal Technology Officer to build, document and implement technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.

In this role you will support the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation planning of IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of specific infrastructure components in proposed implementations. Additionally, you will actively participate in a team of specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions.

Are you right for this role?
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience and ability to deliver high quality ICT services to clients, with emphasis on managing workloads, priorities and working unsupervised.
  • Demonstrated ability and technical skills in the following:
    • Identity and authentication services (Microsoft Active Directory, Federation Services)
    • Network Addressing (DNS, DHCP)
    • Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 (OS and Hardware)
    • Administrative Scripting (PowerShell)
  • Demonstrated experience or the ability to quickly learn Service Now and ITIL Service Management processes (primarily incident / problem / change / configuration management).
  • Demonstrated high level of technical expertise in the management, configuration, monitoring and design of medium to large enterprise ICT environments with the proven ability and technical skills to support ICT services to meet agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • High level oral and written communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations and the ability to maintain relevant system documentation and produce technical reports/documents for management.

Specific Working Conditions:

  • Participate in on-call arrangements may be required for this position. Appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply.
