Hours per week: Up To 20 hours per week

Salary: $70,049.73- $98,351.39 base per annum

About the role:

The registered nurse position as part of the Alcohol and Drug Service - Outpatients will provide expert knowledge and nursing skills to assess, identify and respond to complex problems of individuals and families affected by drug and alcohol related health conditions, including dependence and mental and/or physical health comorbidities.

Working within a small multi-disciplinary team the registered nurse will provide a range of services for clients of ADS Outpatient including assessment, treatment planning, management of intoxication and withdrawal, delivery of brief interventions and referrals.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic ADSOP Registered Nurse who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people who are Manager to include desired experience/attributes.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency

3. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team
4. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
5. Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
6. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
7. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse
8. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment
