Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our aged care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the overall health and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
  • Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse.
  • Assist with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and professional development activities.

Qualifications
  • Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse) qualification.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Previous experience working in aged care or a similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Compassionate nature and genuine interest in working with elderly individuals.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently when required.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing aged care services
