The Opportunity

The Work Health & Safety (WHS) Governance Lead manages the day-to-day delivery of key work health and safety governance programs. This includes maintaining their own program workload, and engagement with business stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of WHS Governance functions whilst leading a small team of WHS Specialists.

Eligibility Requirements

Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description and ensure they are referenced in your resume or answers to targeted questions.

Extensive experience in work health and safety coaching and provision of advice in a large diverse service industry and/or equivalent tertiary or technical qualifications.

ICAM lead investigator and WHS Management System lead auditor qualifications, or equivalent preferred.

Up to date knowledge of relevant industry and work health and safety legislative and regulatory requirements and government policies and processes to support direct reports and business line customers.

Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring and leading others with the ability to role model performance-based, responsive and accountable customer-focused work culture.

Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa.
