Job Description

Are you a Senior Physiotherapist looking for change and opportunity? Come and be part of a new and dynamic multidisciplinary allied health organisation in Canberra. Physiotherapy is new to our team so we are looking for a purpose driven, dynamic Senior Physiotherapist excited by the prospect of guiding the development of physiotherapy supports for our team in the ACT.

On a daily basis, you will be:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a timely manner
  • Assessing NDIS participants' physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Delivering supports to participants within the clinic and community settings (e.g. schools and homes)
  • Collaborating within the multidisciplinary team
  • Working with your Allied Health Manager to engage with and educate key business stakeholders and grow our service in the ACT
  • Mentoring and supervising junior clinicians 

About You

  • Considerable experience working as a Physiotherapist
  • Experience delivering services to people with disability
  • A passion for assisting vulnerable members of our community in reaching their goals
  • An interest in collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
  • A desire to work with NDIS participants across the lifespan (0-65 years) as you will be taking on a mixed caseload
  • Experienced in mentoring or supervising junior clinicians
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified Physiotherapist
  • Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
