The Facility
Join a leading Tertiary level 3 Teaching Hospital with nearly 400 beds and a dedicated team of around 1,700 staff members. Affiliated with Flinders University, the facility includes an onsite Medical School and is accredited by ACEM as a major referral center for two years of advanced emergency training. The Position
The Department is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiologist to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality cardiovascular care.  As a Cardiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of heart and vascular conditions. Your duties will include performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing patient care and follow-up. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
To be considered for this position, candidates must hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. This role also offers opportunities for involvement in clinical research, teaching, and professional development, making it an ideal position for those looking to advance their careers in cardiology.

The Requirements:
  • Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Endocrinology
  • On RACP training program
  • Hold the FRACP
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's with RACP interview date
  • IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable
