The Facility
Join a leading Tertiary level 3 Teaching Hospital with nearly 400 beds and a dedicated team of around 1,700 staff members. The Position
We are excited to present an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Anaesthetist Consultant to join our dynamic and motivated team of seasoned professionals. In this pivotal role, you will provide your clinical expertise in anaesthesia, acute pain management, and perioperative medicine.  As an Anaesthetist Consultant, your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality anaesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures, managing acute pain for patients undergoing surgery, and overseeing perioperative care to ensure optimal outcomes. You will be expected to perform preoperative assessments, develop individualized anaesthesia plans, and implement advanced anaesthesia techniques. Additionally, you will be responsible for post-operative pain management and the critical care of patients in the recovery phase.  This position is ideal for a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care. Your role will also involve mentoring and supervising junior medical staff and trainees, contributing to their education and professional development.

The Requirements:
  • Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Endocrinology
  • On ANZCA training program
  • Hold the FANZCA
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's with ANZCA interview date
  • IMG's assessed by ANZCA and found to be substantially comparable
