The Hospital: Our hospital offers a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, and psychiatric services. With a total capacity of almost 300 beds and an extensive array of primary and community healthcare services, it serves as the primary acute care referral center for the South West Region. The hospital also houses a Deakin Clinical School, contributing to medical education, and stands as the largest employer in the region.
The Location: Conveniently located just a comfortable 3-hour drive from Melbourne, this university city is celebrated for its breathtaking coastline and natural beauty. The Requirements: To be considered for this dynamic role, candidates must meet one or more of the following criteria:
Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
Possess at least 12 months of recent experience at a Consultant level in ICU
Hold or be eligible for the FCICM (Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine)
On the CICM (College of Intensive Care Medicine) training program
IMGs eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ)
IMGs with a CICM interview date
IMGs assessed by CICM and found to be partially or substantially comparable
