The role 

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide expert advisory and support services in industrial relations, human resources, and employee relations, focusing on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce within Queensland Health and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include supporting initiatives from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce Certified Agreement, developing and coordinating job evaluation activities, managing industrial matters, leading projects, and contributing to award maintenance and enterprise bargaining processes. The successful person

You will have demonstrated:

  • Demonstrated high level experience and expertise in job analysis, role description design, job evaluation methodology, JEMS or similar.
  • Ability to lead and manage critical projects and/or project activities. This role will have initial focus on classification structure related activities.
  • Strong leadership and high-level project management skills in the initiation, development, implementation, and evaluation of projects.
  • Ability to identify and respond to new and emerging human resource and industrial relations issues and advise on the longer term implications.
  • Ability to develop, implement and apply best practice human resource and industrial relations strategies, frameworks and tools.
