About your opportunity

Permanent part-time – 64 hours per fortnight

The role of the Clinical Nurse Continence Advisor is to promote and maintain the health and wellbeing of clients within the Continence Advisory Service by utilising holistic and comprehensive assessment practices to formulate and implement care plans in consultation with the client and other treating clinicians.

The position works closely with the Clinical Nurse Consultant, Continence Advisory Service in the delivery of safe clinical practice within the multidisciplinary environment of the Older Persons Community Services

Generous remuneration package value up to $111,401 p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range of $54.44 to $58.30 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent nursing qualification is a mandatory qualification for this position.
  • Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
  • Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Service as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current Commonwealth National Aged Care Police Certificate. Queensland Health will facilitate applicants obtaining the above National Police Certificate.
  • Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
  • Probation period may apply
