The Facilities: Services provided include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, intensive care, mental health, rehabilitation, and palliative care. The hospital has recently undergone significant expansion with the opening of our new Intensive Care Unit, additional operating theatres and two new wards.
The Role: The day to day role will include patient assessment and management and supervision of Registrars and Interns and will also participate in our teaching program. You will provide clinical management to patients in a collaborative manner with the broader healthcare team to deliver compassionate person-centered care.
The successful appointee will participate in the on-call, evening and weekend roster. Participate in Department audits and various working parties that exist within the Department and throughout the health service.
The Requirements: You must hold the FACEM or had the ACEM college assessment and be deemed ‘substantially comparable’.
